If you follow this website then you know I live in a beach community on the Gulf of Mexico. Our beach is beautiful: sand as white as table sugar, dunes covered in sea oats, and clear water. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the breeze. Of course, at this time of year we get our fair share of good-looking guys roaming the shoreline in their swimsuits. It always makes for a nice view when I’m down there.
I had a rough time with my knees last night. They woke me up around two AM, and then I spent two hours reading in the living room before I could fall back asleep. Now I’m feeling groggy and lethargic, but I suppose these feelings will pass.
In just a few minutes I’m due at the physical therapy studio where they will work me over for an hour. I don’t mind going but when each session ends my knees are barking and I’m ready for a rest. The therapy is an essential part of my recovery from knee surgery, and I don’t mind going; it gets me out of the house and interacting with people. But I sure wish these knees would hurry up and get better.
Have a nice Monday, everyone.
