When I was in college, about one hundred years ago, I had long hair for the last three years of undergraduate school. It grew past my shoulders, and I liked the way it looked, but it was a pain in the ass to take care of. I had to wash it every day and use conditioner, and then it always turned into a windblown mess whenever I rode my bike someplace. And since I didn’t have a car back then, my hair was almost always a windblown mess.
All that aside, I think the guys in this morning’s photo posts look terrific with their long hair. And I especially like the way the light is reflecting in the young man’s hair in the top photo. What a beautiful guy ….
I had a wonderful trip to Florida’s east coast with my boyfriend and three other guys who are close friends. The friends are straight guys and considerably younger than me, but I have known them for many years and they accept me and my boyfriend without reserve.
Speaking of my college days, I almost felt like I was back in college on this trip. Once guy owns a commercial Chevy panel van. We piled our surfboards and all our gear into the van, and then we drove to Brevard County with the windows down (The A/C wasn’t working.) and the radio blaring. It was a hot, sweaty trip, but not all that bad, I couldn’t surf because my knees haven’t full healed yet, but I enjoyed watching my boyfriend and our friends surf. The weather was good and so were the waves. We had a great dinner Saturday night at our favorite Mexican restaurant, and we managed to consume about four cases of beer.
My boyfriend and I got home last night around six o’clock. I cooked a quick meal for us, and after we cleaned up it wasn’t too long before we hit the sack, We were both exhausted. I had a great night’s sleep and we both felt rested and ready for the week this morning.
I love Florida ….
