Hi, friends and readers:
Last January I took a survey to determine which was the most popular photo I’d posted during 2014. First place went to “the sweaty wrestler”, but the photo to the left, which I dubbed “The Video Game Boy”, came in a close second.
I’d never seen any other photos of our boy until just the other day, when I came across a second photo I am posting here this morning. He seems to enjoy hanging out in his tight briefs, doesn’t he? And who would complain if he did? Not me. 😉
We hosted a nice dinner gathering last night for two of our best friends. I grilled cheese-burgers over charcoal while my boyfriend prepared all the trimmings and cooked fresh corn-on-the-cob. We all drank plenty of wine, and the evening was lots of fun.
I rose a little before eight this morning, to walk 2-1/2 miles on the beach. After I took a dip in the Gulf, I showered, and then I walked my elderly neighbor’s dog for her. Then, after breakfast, I got busy on a writing project. This project’s a lengthy one involving a rewrite on a 110,000-word novel. It’s aimed at “mainstream readers”, so it’s not typical Delacroix fare, but we’ll see how it flies with agents and publishers.
It’s a sunny day here on the island. A nice little breeze it blowing and the humidity is not too bad. This is my boyfriend’s last day off before he returns to his summer job, and I think maybe we’ll spend a little time at the beach this afternoon. We’re having another friend over for dinner tonight, and that’s about it for our plans.
Have a nice Sunday, everyone.
