There is something about a plaid shirt that flatters a guy’s appearance in a special way. I don’t know why, really, but don’t you thin the guy to the left looks great in his plaid shirt. Okay, okay . . . he’d look good wearing a flour sack, but I still think the plaid shirt enhances his beauty. I wonder who took his photo It’s clearly an amateur shot, but I’ll bet it was taken by someone who was hot for the guy in the photo. Who could blame them? 😉
I woke to the sound of rain drumming my roof this morning. Listen, we need all the water we can get in Florida for our burgeoning population, but this is getting ridiculous. We had thirty inches of rain in July and August alone, and now September’s turning out to be wet also.
Outside right now the rain has stopped but the sky is overcast and gloomy, and I am sure more rain is in store for later today. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to take my usual beach walk this morning, instead I just worked on edits for my new novel. Now it’s close to lunchtime, and after I finish this post I’ll get myself something to eat.
I have a busy afternoon ahead of me. If you follow this site, then you know we have a fishing camp on a river about 75 miles north of here. It’s located in a very remote area one must reach by taking a boat six miles down the river, to a spot where it empties into the Gulf of Mexico. We’re spending the upcoming weekend up there, and this means I will spend my afternoon buying supplies for the weekend: beer and wine, food, and then packing up a variety of thing we’ll need up there like flashlights, toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, and so on. There’s so much stuff to remember I have to use a list to keep myself organized, but it’s worth it. .
Have a nice Thursday, everyone. I hope the sun is shining where you are.
