At least once a week I like to share some of my favorite black-and-white photos with you guys, and this week I’m doing so today.
Okay, the guy to the left is a little beefier than my usual subjects, but he certainly is a babe. He reminds me exactly of a fraternity brother of mine when I attended University of Florida. His name was Ross, and he’d often parade around the fraternity house in nothing but a pair of whitey tighties while I drooled. He also had a peculiar talent: he could light his own farts with a Zippo lighter; I watched him do it in his room several times, and it was hilarious. He’d shoot these blue flames that made a “whoosh” sound. I wonder where Ross is today? And I wonder if he still ignites his farts from time to time? A-h-h-h, the good old college days; they seem so long ago ….
I watched a really good Netflix movie last night titled Woman in Gold. It was about a Jewish woman’s crusade to recover artwork stolen from her family by the Nazis when the Nazis took over Austria. The acting was superb, plus a lot of the movie was filmed in Vienna, which is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
Anyway, I got up at 7:30 this morning (I’m such a good boy these days.) and then I walked three miles on the beach. Fall has finally arrived in central Florida and our morning are beautifully cool. My walk was delightful, as were my dip in the Gulf and my outdoor shower afterward. I spent 2-1/2 hours this morning performing final edits on my new novel, and this afternoon I will submit the book to a literary agent for the first time.
My afternoon is pretty much free, and I plan to ride my bike for exercise after lunch if the day doesn’t heat up too much. My boyfriend is attending a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game tonight with one of our good friends, but I’ll stay home; I don’t care for hockey at all. I’m cooking dinner for all three of us beforehand.
Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
