Hot boys in A-shirts; fall has arrived on the island ….

a-shirt #4Hi, friends and readers:

It takes a special guys with the right body to carry off wearing an “A-shirt”. I mean, often I’ll see these guys with hip-hop clothing who are way too fat or skinny, and they are wearing an A-shirt, which does not do a thing for me. But I think the guys in this morning’s photo posts look amazing in their shirts, don’t you? Would you pass up a date with either guy? Of course you wouldn’t; they’re both babes.

Well, I woke up this morning around 4:30, because I fell asleep last night around nine PM, due to fatigue form my travels. I waited to get up until about seven AM, and once it was daylight I hit the beach for a nice three-mile walk along the shore. I got rained on during my walk but didn’t care. Despite how much I enjoyed my Maine vacation, it sure felt good to walk in the sand in my bare feet, wearing nothing but swim trunks and a t-shirt.

a-shirt #3Fall has definitely arrived in west central Florida. Our highs during the day only go up to about 86 degrees F, and the humidity is far lower than it was even three weeks ago. Now I won’t sweat every time I walk out the front door or step onto my patio. Here on our island, we live for this time of year when it’s still warm enough for swimming in the Gulf, but cool enough to enjoy outdoor activities.

I had a busy morning, working on edits for my new novel, and also making phone calls I didn’t have a chance to make in Maine. The morning just kind of rushed by. Now it’s almost noon and time for a light lunch before I hop into the Element and cruise into town to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I’ll need to hit the supermarket on the way home, as my boyfriend didn’t really shop for food during my absence, and the fridge and cupboards are somewhat barren. 🙁

I’m sure my boyfriend will spend his Monday evening studying, so maybe I’ll invite my friend and neighbor to join me at our timeshare down the street for a little hot tub time. Have a nice Monday, everyone.
