Do you find the photo to the left here as enticing as I do. The model is a guy named Vince Kowalski, and I believe this photo was taken about two or three years ago. Unfortunately, Kowalski turned into a tattoos freak, and now his body is covered in ink. It’s not a good look for him, in my view, and it’s too bad because he was so beautiful, but that’s life. We can still enjoy his old photos.
It’s been an aggravating morning for me. As previously mentioned our refrigerator has been giving us trouble for about three weeks now. I have a service contract on the fridge with Sears, and twice they’ve been out here, and twice they haven’t successfully fixed the problem. Yesterday, they told me a service tech would be at my house between eight AM and noon. As a result, I missed my morning beach walk. Now it’s 11:15 AM and no one has called or arrived to fix the fridge. G-r-r-r-r-r ….
Okay, I did spend 2-1/2 hours writing new material for my story-in-progress, so it hasn’t been a wasted morning by any means, but unless the service guy gets here soon I may not be able to visit the YMCA for my usual workout and lap-swimming. G-r-r-r-r ….
Okay, I know, my troubles are minuscule compared to the ones most people face. Hell, I don’t even have a job; I just write fiction and enjoy this lovely island I live on with y boyfriend. But try living without a refrigerator for a few days, and then maybe you’ll understand my grumpy attitude. How can I keep my beer cold if I don’t have a fridge? 🙁
It’s a beautiful, sunny day outside, and alight breeze is tickling the fronds on my coconut palms. It’s quiet on the island today, not many people are out here fishing or sunning themselves on the beach, and that’s fine with me.
Have a pleasant Wednesday, friends.
