Only certain guys can carry off wearing an a-shirt, also known as a “wife beater.” The shirts look best on slender guys with broad shoulders, like the two in today’s photo posts. I think the guy to the left looks real sexy in his shirt, don’t you? And I like the sphinx-like expression on his face; it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking about, isn’t it?
We watched a Netflix movie last night, Jobs, about the Apple computers co-founder. It wasn’t particularly good because they tried to cram too many characters and events into two hours, which rendered each scene pretty ineffective. I give it a C-minus.
I had a restless night last night, too. I kept waking up every two hours, which isn’t something I normally do, and I also had some very weird dreams. As a result, I’m not feeling in top form this morning.
When I rose at 7:30 AM, the air outside was chilly and the wind was blowing very hard out of the northeast. I decided to delay my morning beach walk until later in the morning, when it’s warmer. I spent 2-1/2 hours writing new material for my novel-in-progress, which is now at 36,000 words and still growing.
After I take my walk, I’ll have lunch, and then I must drive into town to buy wine and visit the bank. Normally I would do these things on our island, but our main road is under construction today and I don’t wish to sit in stalled traffic for forty-five minutes, just to travel a few miles.
I have a painting project I also plan to work on this afternoon, and then this evening we’ll go into the city to visit an old friend of mine I have known since grade school. We’ll drink a few beers, and then buy some takeout food for our dinner. It’s a nice way to spend an evening.
Have a great Tuesday, friends.
