When I was in high school all boys were required to take a full year of Physical Education whether we wanted to or not. I think the schools did this to provide jobs for the football coaches, because I sure didn’t learn anything from my P.E. classes. The only part I liked about P.E. was shower time. We were all required to shower each day at the end of class, and some of the sights were jaw-dropping. A lot of seniors took P.E., even thought they didn’t have to, because it was an easy “A” for jocks who weren’t too bright. Some of those guys were beautiful, and I always looked forward to showering alongside them. I know that sounds a bit slutty, but I was a horny little devil back then, and at least I got something out of P.E. I can still remember some of those guys, and I sometimes wonder where they are today ….
Well, we stayed up later than we should have last night, watching two episodes of Queer as Folk, a cable TV show that aired on Showtime back between 2000 and 2005. It was a pretty daring program for its time.
Anyway, I ended up sleeping in late today, so I didn’t get my beach walk in this morning. Right after a quick breakfast I got busy at the keyboard, writing new scenes for my novel-in-progress. I wrote for over two hours, and now it’s almost lunch time. I’ll share a meal with my boyfriend. Then he’s off to school for his first exam, while I drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming.
It’s a nice day today on the island, albeit unseasonably warm. We have the air conditioner running, but it’s supposed to cool off tomorrow. Maybe tonight we’ll have a fire in our fire pit on he patio. It’s a nice thing to do on a pleasant December evening.
Have a great Wednesday, friends.
