Several blocks form my home there’s are two basketball courts in a city park. The courts are nicely maintained and they’re even lit at night. The courts are quite popular with boys from a nearby college, and often when I pass there on foot or on my bike I’ll see a group of them playing half-court or even full-court. The sights are almost always stellar, particularly on warm days and nights when the guys shed their shirts. Why do shirtless guys in basketball shorts look so sexy? I don’t know. But would you like to watch Mr. Muscles here play ball?
Of course you would …. 😉
I rose around eight this morning. The sky was overcast, the temperature cool, and I decided to save my three-mile speed walk for this afternoon when it’ll be warmer. Instead I got busy on my writing project.
I worked on my writing project for three hours, and now it’s past eleven. I got a lot done, and now it’s time to move on to other things: tending to correspondence, making this post, and maybe paying a visit to the seawall near our house to check out the Intracoastal Waterway.
It’s quiet here on the island today, I guess because the weather’s not real appealing to tourists, but I like quiet; it helps me think. I have a lot on my mind right now, most of it having to do with the direction my writing will go in 2016. I have some choices to make and a lot of work to do, and that’s okay.
Have a nice Thursday, everyone.
