If you follow this website then you know I live on an island on Florida’s Gulf coast. I’m surrounded by water, and all day long power boats and sailboats cruise by my house, many with attractive young men wearing little but swim trunks. It’s always fun to check them out from my observation deck that offers a bird’s eye view of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Check out Mr. Cell Phone here to the left. Would you like to take a day-long cruise with him? Of course you would ….
I had a great time entertaining my friend last night. The meal I cooked turned out great, and he even brought tiramisu for dessert. We shared a few drinks on the deck at sunset time, and then we had our meal at the dining table with all the windows open and our patio fountain gurgling.
I rose this morning around nine AM, after getting a good night’s rest. I am about 80% over the head cold/sinus infection that has plagued me for an entire month, and it feels so good to be healthy again. I worked on a new writing project all morning, and now it’s almost lunchtime. Since it’s Monday I will drive into the city right after lunch, to visit the YMCA for a workout.
We don’t have much planned for tonight. My boyfriend will have to study for his Tuesday classes, and I will likely busy myself with edits on what I wrote this morning. I plan to grill pork chops over charcoal for tonight’s dinner. It’s another perfect day, weather-wise, here on the island. So why not cook outside?
Have a nice Monday, everyone.
