Only certain guys can carry off wearing an a-shirt successfully. He needs the right amount of arm and shoulder muscle and a slender torso to make it work. I think the guys in today’s photo posts look great in their a-shirts. Don’t you agree?
I woke up around four this morning, wide awake; I don’t know why. So I got out of bed and spent 90 minutes editing my novel-in-progress. Then I went back to bed and slept until 8:30 when our trim trimmers were due to arrive. They weren’t here long, maybe forty-five minutes, and now our palms look great. Coconut palms, in particular, do not like cold windy weather like we had in January, and our had lots of dead fronds on them. So the job needed done, and now it’s taken care of. The trees won’t have to be trimmed again for at least six months.
I spent almost three hours writing new material for my novel-in-progress this morning. It’s still in its early stages, only about 7500 words, so I have a long way to go, but I like my two main characters. One is straight, the other gay, and they are traveling together cross-country in a panel van. Because they are so different from each other, it’s interesting to watch them interact.
It’s almost lunchtime now, and after I dine I have a busy afternoon ahead. I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout. Afterward I’ll drop of my eyeglass frames at the eyeglass store, where they will install new reading lenses in the frames. While they are doing that I’ll visit our marine dealer to pick up a part for our boat. I also need to fill a boat fuel tank with ethanol-free gasoline for our trip to our fishing camp later this week. It’s a lot of running around, but it’s all necessary, so I will get it all done.
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
