I don’t normally post photos on this site that are as large as the one I put up here this morning, but when I saw the photo I thought it was so beautiful that I wanted to share it with all of you full-size. I love everything about the photo: the beautiful young man and the expression on his face, the lighting, and even the surface he’s lying on, which looks like pavement. Of course, the photo begs a question: Why is he lying on the pavement? Was he involved in some sort of auto accident or pedestrian mishap? Is he alive or dead? If he’s just sleeping, why is he lying on the pavement like that?
Well, like all good photos, it asks more questions than it answers, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I first saw it. I wonder who the photographer was?
Our hot water heater stopped working yesterday and our plumber is supposed to be arriving shortly to diagnose the problem. Last night I had to shower at a neighbor’s since I really can’t stand cold showers. Hopefully the problem can be fixed today so I can look as happy as the guy to the left here. Isn’t he cute?
Depending on the plumber situation, I will possibly visit the YMCA this afternoon for a workout and possibly lap-swimming if I feel up to it. I’m still not feeling one hundred percent after the sinus infection I suffered in February; I just don’t have my normal energy level and it bugs the crap out of me.
Anyway, outside the sun is shining and the birds are chirping in the trees; it’s a beautiful morning on the island and we have to be thankful for that. I’ve already done my writing for the day, and now it’s time to take care of correspondence. Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
