Have a look at the guy to the left. Isn’t he cute? His name is Vince Kowalski; I believe he lives somewhere in Alaska. Now this top photo was taken, I think, about four years ago. That’s the way Vince used to look when he swam and played baseball as a high school senior. And I doubt Vince had any trouble getting dates at the time. Who wouldn’t want to spend en evening with a guy who looked like him at the time? I wonder if Vince was Prom King at his school? 🙂
Fast forward to 2016 …
Here’s what Vince looks like today. Okay, he’s put on some muscle and his hair looks great; he’s still very sexy. But I don’t think all those tattoos have improved Vince’s appeal at all, in fact I think they detract from his appearance. But that’s just me.
I rose at 7:30 this morning. When I went outside to fetch my beach sandals the air was cool, about 70 degrees F. So I put on a sweatshirt and shorts, and then I walked three miles on the beach. It was beautiful down there: sunny, with a little breeze. The best part of the walk was seeing three dolphins chasing a pod of fish and feeding on them. Pelicans were also dive-bombing the pod for breakfast, really cool stuff you won’t see many places.
When I returned home, I ate a quick breakfast and made a few phone calls, and then I got to work on my new novel. I wrote new material for 2-1/2 hours, and now it’s well past eleven AM. After I finish this post I have correspondence to deal with, and then I fix lunch.
Since this is Wednesday I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and ap-swimming. I’ll run a few errands afterward before coming home. My boyfriend has his evening class tonight, so I will dine alone. 🙁
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
