Beautiful guys in black-and-white. Wish me luck out west ….

black and white beauty #11Hi, friends and readers:

I love good-quality black-and-white photography because it makes you focus more on the subject of the photo more than the colors. I think the boy to the left here has an almost unearthly beauty to him. I love the expression on his face and the way its indirectly lit. I wonder if hew has a nice smile? I guess we’ll never know.

Well, I am all packed for my trip out west to kayak the Colorado River with several guys, some of whom I know and some who I have not yet met. I’m sure we’ll all get along fine, as there won’t be any shortage of food and alcohol. πŸ™‚

My flight leaves from Tampa around 10:30 AM, so I won’t have time to post on this site again before I leave. I’ll be gone for a week, friends and readers. Can you survive that long without my scintillating posts?

black and white beauty #27Have a look at the boy to the left here. Unlike the boy in the top photo, he looks very approachable, doesn’t he. I like his simple haircut and clothing; he seems like someone you could easily make friends with. He also has a bit of muscle on him, which I like very much. I wonder what his name is and where he lives?

We are having relatives over for dinner tonight; they’re staying next door in our vacation rental for a week. I picked up fresh-off-the-boat grouper for our dinner. I’ll team the fish with a fresh fruit salad and twice-baked potatoes. Yummy!

Now, I’ve done a lot of canoeing and kayaking in my lifetime, just not on the mighty Colorado River, but I should be fine. Don’t you worry about old Martin. I’ll make it back in one piece with some stories to tell about my adventures with my friend. Have a nice Monday evening friends. And if you’re missing me you can always read one of my stories. πŸ™‚
