Last night I watched the second half of a Netflix rental titled A Brilliant Young Mind. It stars a very beautiful boy named Asa Butterfield, who you see in this morning’s photo posts. He does a wonderful job of portraying a boy who is mathematically gifted but socially inept to the max; he can hardly look another person in the eye.
Understand, this is a long film, almost two hours, and it’s not always upbeat, but I would recommend it anyway. It’s a lovely story, and you get to spend two hours gazing into Asa’s incredible ice-blue eyes. I wonder if he has a boyfriend?
I woke up at 3:30 this morning, wide-awake. I spent two hours editing my novel-in-progress before I was able to go back to sleep. As a result, I ended up sleeping until ten A.M., so there was no walk on the beach for Martin today. 🙁
It’s okay. Right after lunch my boyfriend and I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. We have errands to run: tackle shop to pick up a repaired fishing reel, dry cleaner’s, and the booze market. This evening we’ll watch the Tampa Bay Lightning play Pittsburgh in playoff game #4. I’m getting to like hockey more as I watch it more.
Have a nice Friday, everyone.
