I love BMXers; I used to live in a neighborhood full of them. They were always shaggy-haired and shirtless, endlessly riding their bikes around the asphalt, and forming a little subculture all their own. Most of them were actually pretty nice guys; they’re just into their own world. And speaking of shaggy hair, check out the guy to the left here. How’d you like to have him living next door to you? 😉
Okay, I am posting late today, and with good reason. The air conditioning in my Honda Element hasn’t been cooling as well as it normally does, so this morning I had to drive it to the Honda Dealer to have it serviced. If you live in central Florida you have to have a well-working car air conditioner, especially at this time of year. So I spent three hours waiting for my car since I had no one to give me a ride to and from.
Actually, I didn’t mind my stay at the dealership. I brought a newspaper, two crossword puzzles, and a book to read, so I kept busy and the time cruised by. Now my a/c is working just fine; it’s ice cold, and I am ready for summer.
Oh, and check out Mr. Water Bottle to the left here. Nice hair and skin. Nice lanky physique. Classic BMXer.
I just returned from a three-mile walk on our beach, now that I am home, and conditions were beautiful down there: sunny, dry and breezy. The Gulf was clear and turquoise in color. The sand was nice and soft, which is nice for barefoot walking. I really hated to return to the house, but I want to take a 1-1/2 mile run and then do some yard work.
I’ll be alone tonight again. I plan to prepare a shrimp and pasta dish I like, and then I will watch the Tampa Bay Lightning’s playoff game against Pittsburgh. If they win tonight, they go to the Stanley Cup Final for the second year in a row. Go Bolts!
Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
