I live in a beach community, a small island fronting the Gulf of Mexico, and one of the benefits of living here is the constant flow of attractive young men wearing nothing but swim trunks who flock to our beach. Especially on weekends it’s like a smorgasbord of young male flesh. I wonder if I’ll see the guys in today’s photo posts this coming weekend? I sure hope so. 🙂
I rose at 7:15 this morning, to take my usual three-mile walk along the shore. Conditions were nice down there. The Gulf was calm and there were not many people around. At the end of my walk I took a brief swim, and then I showered on our private patio, which has a nice hot-and-cold water setup. I felt totally refreshed when it was over, and I was ready to start my day. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any writing done because I had a morning appointment with the eye doctor, as a follow-up to last week’s surgery.
How do you like Mr. Red Trunks, here to the left? I think he;s mighty cute, and I’m thinking he’s a lifeguard, due to the insignia on his trunks. Imagine getting rescued from a rip current by him? Yummy ….
I’m home form the doctor’s now, of course, and it’s nearing lunchtime. I’m looking forward to this afternoon because I am now allowed to return to the YMCA for my workouts and lap-swimming. (I wasn’t allowed to exercise for a week after my eye surgery.)
This evening I will drive back into the city to have dinner with a good friend who’s not doing too well mentally right now. He suffers from bipolar disorder and when he goes into a downward spiral he doesn’t like to leave his house. So I’ll pay him a visit and we’ll get some takeout for our dinner.
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone, wherever you might be today.
