At least once a week I like to post some of my favorite black-and-white photos for your viewing pleasure, and I thought today would be a good time to do so. The photo to the left is one of several taken of Vince Kowalski before he trashed his body with tasteless tattoos, and then decided to adopt an ugly hairstyle that makes him look like an idiot. I find this photo of Vince especially beautiful. Do you like it as well?
Today I feel like I’m at the end of a very long footrace that started in early July when I left for Cuba, and finally ended yesterday when we returned form our fishing camp. At present, I have no other travel plans, other than spending Christmas in Wisconsin with my boyfriend’s family, and it feels kind of nice knowing I’m returning to my usual routines: morning beach walks, daily writing, YMCA workouts, and watching sunsets from our deck.
I don’t regret any of my travels this summer; it’s been a great adventure filled with people I truly enjoyed spending time with, but now I’m ready to be a homebody for a while. My writing productivity, especially, has been poor during the past two months. I have a novel-in-progress that requires my attention, and I’ve made up my mind to work hard on it during the coming weeks.
Oh, by the way, I think the guy in the lower photo is British fashion model Robbie Wadge, but I am not certain. Does anyone know. He certainly is sexy, whomever he is. 😉
Today will be a quiet one for me. I’ll take a walk on the beach at some point this afternoon, and then around five PM I’ll take a two-mile run on the street, just after our Sunday beachgoer traffic clears out. Have a nice Sunday, friends, wherever you are today.
