I know you guys liked the BMXer photos I posted here this morning, so I decided to post two more tonight. I mean, check out the guy to the left here. Do you think he goes to the track dressed like that? If so, I would definitely go to watch him perform…. 😉
I had a great workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA. After I showered and dressed in the locker room, I was standing at a bank of sinks and combing my hair while using the big wall mirror. This boy who was probably eighteen came in and stood next to me. I’d noticed him in the Fitness Center earlier; he was pretty cute. He asked me if I would take a few photos of him with his shirt off, and I said, “Sure.” (I’m not crazy.) So he peeled off his shirt and flexed, and then I took a few photos. He was actually very sweet and thanked me twice. (It made my day, actually.)
Anyway, I am home now and ready for a quiet evening at the house. A tropical storming is forming up in the Gulf of Mexico right now, and it’s expected to make landfall on Florida’s west coast about 120 miles north of us. That means a lot of wind and rain for us, but nothing dangerous. Right now it’s raining lightly, but that will change as the evening moves on.
Our fridge is full of leftovers right now, and so we agreed that tonight we would dine on some of them while they are still fresh. I know not too many people like leftovers, but I don’t mind them at all. We’ll get the microwave pumping and dine on a whole variety of tasty foods, including restaurant leftovers from our dinner Saturday night.
Oh, by the way, I watched two episodes of the Netflix series, Narcos, and was not at all impressed. I remember the Cocaine Cowboys era down in Miami, in the 1980s, and I never found that whole scene intriguing, just tragic. Have a nice Monday night, friends.
