Beautiful divers in Speedos; easy Wednesday for Martin ….

diver-green-speedoHi, friends and readers:

I watched some of the men’s diving competitions in this year’s summer Olympics, mainly because I wanted to watch Tom Daley compete. (He’s so damned cute, and he doesn’t give a crap if some people don’t like the fact he’s openly gay.) Anyways, Tom looked sexy as hell, as always, but so did many of the other divers, and I told myself I ought to attend one of our local diving competitions sometimes. I imagine I’d see some sights similar to those in the photos I have posted here this morning. Aren’t the guys beautiful?

I was up at 7:30 this morning to take my usual three-mile walk on the beach. It was nice down there, but the recent hurricane dumped tons of sea shells on the shore, making it difficult to walk barefooted down there. As a result, my feet are a little sore right now.

diver-2Have a look at the diver to the left here. I have a hunch he is Australian because of his facial features and body type. I wonder if his name is something like Malcolm or Fergal? Anyway, he sure fills out that Speedo nicely. 😉

I have an easy day ahead of me. This morning I am working on final edits for a large book I’ll have coming out soon. After lunch, I will climb into my Honda Element and drive into the city to visit the YMCA for my usual workout and lap-swimming session. The whole thing takes about two hours, and I always feel refreshed when I’m showered and walking out the door.

I have always been an exercise fiend, and for years I was a dedicated distance runner, in addition to lifting weights and doing calisthenics. But I had to give up running about five years ago because my knees went bad. After four years of not running, I’d had enough, so in May 2015 I had both my knees replaced. The surgery and recovery was rough, but now I am pain free and I am running two miles per day, three days per week. It feels great. 🙂

Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
