Here in Florida we love our swimming pools; they’re a part of everyday life, almost year-round, because it’s so damned hot here seven months out of the year, and if you have a solar pool heater you can use your pool almost any time. It’s also nice when you throw a pool party and some handsome young men attend in their swim trunks, like the guys in today’s photo posts. Who wouldn’t want to host them?
Well, my boyfriend has an early morning interview today for a permanent position that may develop after he graduates in May 2017. I got up with him at 6:30 AM, and then I brewed coffee and fixed him a nice, hot breakfast so he left for his interview feeling well-nourished. He looked so handsome in his business suit. (But not as good as he looks in his birthday suit.) 😉 Hopefully things will go well for him this morning.
After my boyfriend left I’m afraid I drifted back into bed for an hour. I needed more sleep. Now it’s nine AM and I am back at the keyboard, ready to do some creative writing. I didn’t walk on the beach this morning, but it is very nice outdoors today: cool, dry and breezy. I think fall is finally here, and it’s about time. I’m tired of the summer heat.
I’ll spend my morning writing, and then after lunch I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. On my way home I’ll have an errand or two to run, and then tonight I’m cooking a special meal, an old recipe from my Pennsylvania grandma.
Have a nice Monday, everyone.
