There is something very special about watching a beautiful young man when he’s asleep. Especially in the U.S., young men tend to put up a defensive wall between themselves and the world; it’s a means of emotional protection. But the wall comes down when they are sleeping, and that’s why I like photos of beautiful guys who are asleep. Do you like the two I have posted here this evening?
Well, the past three days have been crazy ones, since the termite extermination tent went over our house and we had to vacate for two nights. We stayed with a friend, which was fine. But then this afternoon, when we got the all clear to return to the house, I had to haul all our stuff–food, clothes, toiletries, etc.– all back to the house and put it back in place. And that’s just the beginning. A bunch more food is at our next door neighbor’s. The exterior of our house took a real beating; it will take months for the shrubs and vines to recover, and we sustained damage to trellises and gates. It was all to be expected, but it’s still going to be a long road to recovery in the weeks and months ahead. Well, that’s life, and it’s not the end of the world. And now we don’t have termites eating our house. 🙂
Have a nice Wednesday night, everyone.
