More Evan Geiselman; Martin’s feeling better ….

evan geiselman #4Hi, friends and readers:

This morning I was wondering what Evan Geiselman looks like today, compared to when this morning’s photo posts were shot. Well, some enterprising follower of this website sent me some more recent Evan photos this afternoon, and all I can say is, “Excuse me while I slip into a coma.” Aye-yi-yi, what a babe. I wonder if Evan has a boyfriend?

evan geiselman #3It took it easy today, in hopes I could fend of the head cold I woke up with this morning, and I am actually feeling much better this evening. My sore throat is gone and my sinus congestion is too. So maybe I’ll get lucky.

I got the first half of my painting project done this afternoon, and then I ran a few errands: bank and supermarket. Then I came home and took a nice hot shower. Outside it’s sunny but chilly. I won’t be sitting on my observation deck tonight. Instead I’m joining my friend and neighbor at his house to share a bottle of red wine. I bought a fresh sole fillet at the supermarket for tonight’s dinner. I’ll team that with mac & cheese and a fresh fruit salad for a tasty meal.

All right, everyone, I’m going to get busy on some edits for now, so I will wish all of you (and Evan Geiselman) a wonderful Tuesday evening.

Beautiful Evan Geiselman; pretty morning on the island ….

evan geiselmanHi, friends and readers:

The guy in today’s photo posts is Evan Geiselman, a pro surfer from New Smyrna Beach, FL. He’s one of the world’s best surfers and one beautiful guy. I have actually surfed at New Smyrna Beach, FL, but sadly I have never encountered Evan while I was over there. The photos I have posted here are probably five years old. I wonder what Evan looks like today?

I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat and nasal congestion, sure signs of an impending head cold, perhaps the result of spending too much time outdoors in the cold and dampness this past weekend. I absolutely hate getting sick, as it keeps me from doing so many things I like to do. It’s why I’m a fiend about living healthy. Well, maybe I can fight off the cold if I try my best.

evan geiselman #7Outside it’s a beautiful winter day: sunny and still with a temperature around 68 degrees F (or 19 degrees C). Despite my cold symptoms I will work on a painting project after lunch. My carpenter installed a new wooden door in my vacation rental apartment next door, and now I need to paint it, first with a coat of primer, and then on Thursday I’ll apply a finish coat. No, painting a door is not fun, but the wood needs sealed, so I’ll work on it this afternoon.

I’ve been experiencing heavy traffic on this website in recent months. Many days I have over two thousand visitors. I want to thank all of you who stop by to check out my posts, and especially those of you who purchase my books. It’s nice to feel loved. 🙂

All right, everyone, I have some correspondence to tend to before I have lunch, so I will wish all of you a very pleasant Tuesday, wherever you might be today.

Hot boys wearing backpacks; typical Monday in store for Martin ….

backpack #3Hi, friends and readers:

I don’t know why but there is something incredibly sexy about the way a handsome guy looks when he’s wearing a backpack but no shirt. I mean, check out Mr. You Can Almost See My Pubes to the left here. I’d follow him around all day if he promised not to put on a shirt. Aye-yi-yi …. 😉

I watched a movie last night that kept me up later than would have preferred, and as a result I did not get out of bed this morning until 9:15, and that’s far too late. Oh well, I guess I needed the rest after spending much of the weekend outdoors. Now it’s 10:30 AM and I have little to show for my morning. 🙁

Outside the sun is shining, but it’s kind of chilly (58 F) and the wind is blowing pretty hard, definitely not good weather for beach walking.

backpack #10Because this is a Monday, I’ll be heading into the city right after lunch to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I need to visit Home Depot as well, to purchase new flowers and tomato plants. Yeah, we grow things like that in the winter in Florida. I’ll have time tomorrow to plant them, right after I do some painting at my vacation rental next door.

All right, everyone, I hope you en joyed the shirtless backpackers in today’s photo posts. I hope you have a pleasant Monday, wherever you might be today.

Sexy surfers; Martin’s back from the fishing camp ….

surfer #20Hi, friends and readers:

I am  the first to admit that I am a crappy surfer. I have surfed since I was a teenager, but despite my experience I am just not an athlete, so I am only an intermediate surfer. I can catch waves and ride them, but not skillfully. I will always be mediocre, but that’s okay As long as I’m enjoying myself out on  the water who cares if I’m not that good? I’m not trying to win any medals.

surfer #19One of the great things about surfing is all the beautiful guys you get to watch surfing. You have to be in good physical condition to surf; it’s a lot of hard work, and surfers’ bodies reflect their health: bulging shoulder muscles, rippling abs, and carved chests. Yummy ….

Well, I spent to lovely nights at my fishing camp, but now I am back and feeling great. The fishing was poor this trip because of the cold weather, but we had fun anyway. Our boat ran well, we had plenty of good food to eat and plenty of beer and wine to drink.

Now everything is put away and I’m savoring a cold beer at my keyboard. I don’t have anything planned for my evening. I’ll dine on leftovers and maybe watch a Netflix movie later on. I have some laundry going into the dryer right now, and I have some correspondence to catch up on, so I’ll stay busy. Have a nice Sunday evening, friends

Cute boys in hoodies; Martin’s going fishing ….

hoodie #3Hi, friends and readers:

Ever notice how a hoodie sweatshirt enhances the appearance of certain young men, like the two in today’s photo posts. And look at the lips on the boy to the left here. Definitely DSLs … 😉

I had a nice time in the city last night, sharing time with my old friend and enjoying some tasty Greek cuisine. The weather was nice so we dined outside on his deck. When I got home I only stayed up for about an hour, and then I hit the bed. I was tired.

I slept in this morning until 8:30, so I guess I was in la-la-land for about ten hours. I’ve been exercising regularly this week, and also doing a lot of physical labor around the house, so I guess that’s why I need so much rest the past couple of days. Anyway, I feel great this morning, and I’m ready for a busy day ahead.

hoodie #2This afternoon, around 3;30, I will load up my Honda Element and drive 80 miles northward to meet my boyfriend and another friend at the marina where we keep our motorboat. We’ll cruise six miles out a river to our fishing camp, where the three of us will spend the weekend. The weather is supposed to be okay, though a little on the chilly side. At least it’s not supposed to be windy, so we’ll be fine.

Right now it’s sunny and breezy at my island home. I’ll be pretty busy getting everything ready for the weekend: bait shop, wine market, and supermarket stops, and then loading everything up in my car. But I don’t mind; it’s worth it to spend a weekend at the fishing camp. It’s one of the prettiest spots in Florida.

Have a nice weekend, friends. I’ll post again on Sunday afternoon when I get home.

A beautiful skateboarder; Martin’s having a busy day ….

skater pic #4Hi, friends and readers:

A few years ago I came across the photo to the left, and it took my breath away. I posted the photo on this site, but then I somehow lost the photo on my computer. 🙁 Anyway, when I posted the photo I got flooded with comments about how sexy this guy is, and who could deny it? Well, I found him again, so I am sharing him with all of you. What a beautiful young man ….

Well, I never posted this morning, and now it’s close to five PM. So this will be a short post, albeit a juicy one. 😉

I’ve had a very busy day. I worked on edits on my new novel for about three hours. I met with my carpenter, here at the house, and then after lunch I met him at Home Depot to pick out a new door for my vacation rental. The old one had suffered water damage and needed to be replaced. Thankfully the carpenter was able to install the new on today so my guests are inconvenienced.

In a few minutes I’ll jump in the shower, and the after I get cleaned up I will drive into the city to share a few beers and a meal with one of my oldest friends. It’ll be nice.

Have a great Thursday night, friends, wherever you might be today.

Beautiful Kline Barfield; pretty morning on the island ….

kline barfield #3Hi, friends and readers:

Yesterday I posted two “shirtless” babe photos, and I speculated on the identity of the young man in the upper photo of that post. Thanks to my friend Alan I now know the young man’s name is Kline Barfield, a professional model, so I guess my speculating was way off. I’m posting two more photos of Kline here this morning. The upper photo makes me drool. Look at that bulge between his thighs. Aye-yi-yi ….

kline barfield I stayed up too late last night, reading Michael Chabon’s new novel, Moonglow. Like all Chabon’s books, it makes me feel inferior as a writer because he is the best fiction writer alive today. I don’t know how he does it, really. But what a treasure his books are. I have read all of them, and The Wonder Boys is still my favorite because it’s all about writing fiction.

Anyway, I slept in way late this morning, so I won’t be getting much done in the writing department. It’s okay, I have a few things I need to do around the house, and then, right after lunch, I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session.

I don’t have anything planned for this evening. I will likely do a little editing on my novel-in-progress, and I think I’ll make a batch of chili I can take up to my fishing camp this weekend, for my boyfriend and me to enjoy.

Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.

Sexy and shirtless; sunny morning on the island ….

shirtless #13Hi, friends and readers:

I’ve said this many times before: certain guys should never wear a shirt, outside of attending church or dining in a restaurant. I mean, look at Mr. Drawstring to the left here. If he were my boyfriend he would never wear at shirt at home, and I’d be sure to walk on the beach with him as often as I could, as long as he wore nothing but swim trunks. Aye-yi-yi, what a sexy guy. I wonder what his name is and where he lives? I’m guessing he’s…Kevin from Palo Alto, CA, where he attends Stanford University and studies drama. After graduation he plans to move to L.A. to pursue a career in acting, either in films or on TV. Can’t you see him in a daytime soap opera?

I watched a pretty good Netflix movie last night called The Fundamentals of Caring with Paul Rudd, who I think is a great actor. His character is a full-time caregiver to a handicapped young man with muscular dystrophy. Their relationship starts out rocky, but improves when they take a road trip together.

shirtless #2I was up at 8:30 this morning. Right after a quick breakfast I got busy editing my novel-in-progress, and now the time’s approaching eleven AM. Outside the sun is shining. It’s cool and breezy, and after I finish this post I’ll take a three-mile walk for a little exercise.

The storm that blew through our island Sunday and Monday has made a mess of my property. Fallen leaves and tree limbs are everywhere, so after lunch I’ll run a few errands, then I’ll come home and clean things up outside. Later this afternoon I’ll take a two-mile run for more exercise, maybe around four PM.

I don’t have an plans for this evening. Maybe if the breeze dies down I’ll build a blaze in my fire pit on the patio. I enjoy building fires at this time of year. Anyway, have a nice Tuesday, everyone. And tell your boyfriend to ditch his shirt. 😉

Beautiful skateboarders; blustery weather on the island …..

skater pic #2Hi, friends and readers:

The skateboarding subculture is one that has always interested me. Most people think skaters are not intelligent, and that they smell bad.

Not true. I’ve known a lot of skateboarders in my time, and many are quite bright and sensitive. They are loyal to their friends and devoted to their sport.

What’s wrong with that? Anyway, I think the guys in today’s photo posts are pretty hot. I could watch them do ollies and rail-slides all day long … 😉

skater pic #11Well, I watched the Packers/Falcon’s football game last night, which was a disaster for the Packers. They got blown out by Atlanta, partly because of self-inflicted wounds. The game wasn’t ever close. While it played out a huge storm front blew into our area, with lots of heavy rain and high winds. I came home from my friends’ house and fixed my dinner while listening to the wind howl. I tried watching the second playoff game between the Steelers and the Patriots, but I don’t care for either team and I soon fell asleep on the sofa. I woke up later on and watched a Netflix movie that was pretty good. Then I went to bed.

This morning the wind is still howling but at least our electrical power is still on and I didn’t sustain any damage to my property. An hour form now I will fix myself some lunch, and then I’ll drive into town to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming.

Have a nice Monday, everyone.

Sexy wrestlers; stormy day ahead on the island ….

wrestler #7Hi, friends and readers:

We never had wrestling teams when I was in high school. The sport wasn’t popular in Florida at the time. But I had a nephew who wrestled for his high school, and I attended his matches on a regular basis. Then I befriended two high school wrestlers who were friends of a German exchange student who lived with me, and I attended their matches as well. It’s a sport that requires a good deal of self-discipline, and I admire guys who dedicate themselves to performing well on the mat. (Oh, and those singlets they were are kind of sexy too.) 😉

Anyway, I thought I’d put up two of my favorite wrestling photos this morning. The one on top I just recently came across. I think the boy in the photo is captivating. Would you agree? It’s not just his lanky frame and shaggy hair, but the intense concentration he’s exhibiting while listening to his coach.

wrestler #2This second photo was actually selected by folks who follow this website as the sexiest photo I put up in 2014, and who could blame them? I love the way sweat is glistening all over Mr. Red Singlet, and the way he has lowered the garment to his waist so we can see his carved torso. Yummy ….

I was up around 8:15 this morning, after falling asleep around 10:30 last night. I have work to do in the writing department and I need to visit the supermarket for groceries. Thunderstorms are supposed to arrive here around two PM today, so I’ll try to get a two-mile run in before it starts raining.

The NFL conference championship games will be played today, and I’ll watch the first game with friends Green Bay v. Atlanta) here on the island. I’ll be wearing my Packers jersey and ski cap, to show support for the team. 🙂

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.
