There’s a set of basketball courts about ten blocks form my house, here on the island. The court’s attract lots of young men who play in pickup games. Most of the guys play shirtless, which makes for some interesting sights, and sometimes I’ll pedal my bike down there to watch for a while. I’m sure the guys have no idea why I’m observing their game, While they are dribbling I am drooling while I watch all that smooth and sweaty flesh travel about the courts. Yummy … 🙂
Well, if you are wondering why I did not post for a few days, it’s because I traveled to Tallahassee to help my boyfriend move into his apartment up there. He’s doing a four-month internship, and we needed to get all his belongings situated and his kitchen stocked. It all went well, but it was cold in Tallahassee this past weekend, like down in the 20’s. 🙁
I actually attended law school in Tallahassee; I lived up there for three years and I loved it. It’s such a beautiful town with all its towering live oaks that are festooned with Spanish moss that waves in the breeze. We visited the FSU campus where I attended school, and then the house I lived in while a student there. It still looks as rundown as it did back then.
Now I am home, on my little island, where the low temperature tonight will be around 52 degrees F, much more civilized. I’m sharing a bottle of red wine with my friend and neighbor, and then I’ll make myself a simple dinner before settling on the sofa to watch a movie.
Have a ice Monday night, friends.
