A boyfriend in your bed. What could be better?

boyfriend in bed #3Hi, friends and readers:

About a month ago my boyfriend moved to Tallahassee temporarily, where he’s performing a four-month internship. The internship is a real privilege, one he couldn’t pass up. But that means he’s not in bed with me when I go to sleep and he’s not there in the morning when I wake up. And I have to admit, sleeping alone just sucks.

Having a boyfriend i your bed is one of life’s great pleasures. Every gay man should have one, in my view. I mean, wouldn’t you like to find one of the guys in today’s photo post in your bedroom tonight? 😉

Well, I failed to entirely shake the cold I woke up with yesterday. I’m still congested and a bit listless. Also, on Sunday afternoon I banged my left rib cage against a door jamb while unloading my car from my weekend spent at the fishing camp. I didn’t think I’d injured myself very badly, but this morning I woke up in a good deal of pain. I guess I have a bruised rib or two, because it really hurts if I twist my torso or raise my left arm. 🙁

boyfriend in bed #2Due to my injury and my cold symptoms, I will skip visiting the YMCA for my usual workout and lap-swimming session. Instead I’ll take a three-mile walk after lunch, and then I’ll get some things done around the house that won’t require much physical exertion. Not a very exciting way to spend my day, but it’s important that I take care of myself when I’m not 100%. I have some chicken-noodle soup to heat up for my lunch, which should be good for my cold.

Have a nice Wednesday, friends, wherever you might be today.
