It’s another beautiful mid-March day, here on our Gulf Coast island, and the college boys are here in droves, parading on the shore wearing nothing but swim trunks. Hey, it’s my favorite time of year and in just a little while I will put on my swim trunks and head for the beach. I’ll walk three miles while I soak up the sights. I wonder if Mr. 7-Up to the left here will be present? (I sure hope so.) 😉
Well, my Florida Gators kicked Virginia’s ass in the NCAA basketball tournament last night, so I am a happy man. Now they have to play Wisconsin on Friday. Hmmm, I like Wisconsin, but I like the Gators even better, so you know who I’ll be cheering for, but that’s five days from now, and in the meantime the Spring Breakers await me at the beach. (Yummy.)
I don’t have much planned for my Sunday, other than a trip to the supermarket since my fridge is kind of empty. My beach walk will consume an hour at least, and I have a few household chores to take care of. That doesn’t sound too stressful, does it?
Like I said, the weather here is perfect today: sunny, warm, and breezy, so I’ll enjoy the outdoors. My windows are open and so are my doors. My patio fountain is tinkling and the fronds on my coconut palms are stirring. Ah, Florida ….
All right, everyone, I have things to do, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Sunday.
