It’s Monday and I often choose this day of the week to share some of my favorite black-and-white photography. Look, color photography is great but there is something about black-and-white photography that emphasizes content in a special way. I mean, look at this photo to the left. You can almost feel the model speak to you. And isn’t he beautiful? Aye-yi-yi ….
I woke up pretty early this morning, around 7:30, and I got busy right away. There were little things that needed done around my property and now they are taken care of.
Normally on Mondays I drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming, but not today. Because of the medical procedure performed on my left hand last week I can’t work out or go in the pool until Wednesday.
It’s okay. I have a gazillion things to do in the writing department, and I will get some exercise here on the island. I’ll take a three-mile walk on the beach and maybe do some crunches and push-ups on my bedroom floor.
It’s a beautiful day, here on the island. The sun is shining, it’s about 75 degrees, and only the lightest of breezes is stirring the fronds on my coconut palms. I’m so lucky to live where I do.
B y the way, do you find the guy to the left as appealing as I do? I love his wavy hair, his smooth skin and dark eyes. If he were my boyfriend he’d wear those little gym shorts around the house all the time. 😉
Okay, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Monday, wherever you might be.
