I have an outdoor shower on my privacy-fenced patio, and there’s nothing nicer, after spending time at the beach, than taking an outdoor shower. There’s something about getting naked and rinsing off under the open sky that feels liberating; I don’t know why.
Anyway, I thought I’s share two outdoor shower photos that I find especially appealing. Aren’t the guys beautiful?
I woke around seven tis morning, to the sound of rain pounding my roof. A storm front moved across central Florida form the Gulf, but now it has passed and things have calmed down.
In just fifteen minutes I will drive to the bait and tackle shop to buy live shrimp. I keep them in an ice cooler so they stay preserved. I’ll fish with them this afternoon when I get to my fishing camp around one PM.
This should be an interesting three-day trip. The first night it will be just me and an old friend I have known since I was in third grade. We’ll fish together and drink some beer together, and tonight we’ll fix a joint dinner for ourselves. Then tomorrow all the rest of my friends will arrive for the weekend. There will be nine of us this year, and it’ll be fun. Lots of joke-telling, drinking, and cooking.
The weather will be a little dicey. Temperatures, which have been abnormally high the past week, will drop into the low 50’s tonight. We’ll have some wind, which makes boating and fishing a bit of a challenge, but that’s okay. The fishing camp is all about dealing with Mother Nature.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a great weekend. I won’t post again until Sunday.
