A cute boy on the subway; Martin’s back from fishing ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I love about visiting large cities with subways. It’s fun to ride the subway because there is a constant flow of people getting on and off, some of them quite interesting, like the young man to the left here. I could follow him around for hours. 😉

Well, I spent three nights at my fishing camp. I went up Thursday with one friend. Then on Friday afternoon eight more guys joined us for the weekend. It was so much fun. We have all known one another since grade school. There is much joke-telling, political discussions, drinking, eating and fishing from boats.

The weather was beautiful up there, albeit windy. The wind ruined the fishing but I don’t think anyone minded much. It was nice being out on the water with the sun shining and the beauty of nature all around us. I came home around two PM this afternoon, and after I unpacked I took a three-mile walk on the beach. It was pretty down there.

I’ll spend a quiet night at home by myself tonight. Have a great Sunday evening, all.

  1. Some public transit routes are better than others. But for all routes ( train, bus, or trolley ) it depends on season, day of week, time of day, and the particular stops …. Lifetime of experience.
