Sexy boys in beanies; busy Wednesday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

This past Christmas Eve I attended a Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The temperature was 35 degrees F. I was dressed for the weather; I was never cold. But I saw people wearing a retro Packers beanie and I knew I had to own won. My ex-boyfriend bought one for me, and I love it, but since I live in central Florida I don’t get many chances to wear it.

I think a beanie flatters the appearance of certain guys, like the boys in today’s photo posts. Do you find them as sexy as I do? 😉

I slept until 8:30 this morning; I think I was tired after rising at 5:30 yesterday morning. And that’s okay. Dealing with breaking up with my boyfriend has really taken its toll on me, and I have to treat myself gently.

I have a busy day ahead of me. I’ll work on a writing project this morning until eleven AM, when I will take a three-mile walk, here on the island. Right after lunch I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I’ll visit my CPA’s office to sign my 2016 tax return, and then I’m spending the night at a friend’s house, where we’ll take a nice bike ride and then go out for dinner. I’m really hurting inside from my breakup, and it will feel good to not spend my evening alone.

Okay, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Wednesday, wherever you might be.

  1. My longtime friend Lloyd Alexander ( who I really miss) said this in his book 1 of The Prydain Chronicles: “For each of us there comes a time when we must be more than what we are.” I have lived that quote for years and it has helped me many times. Big or small tough situations. Hope it helps you. Take care.
