If you follow this website then you know I live in a beach community on Florida’s Gulf Coast. And every day I take a three-mile walk along our shore as part of my exercise regimen. Quite often, especially on weekends, I’ll encounter a beautiful young man wearing nothing but swim trunks, and then I’ll realize how lucky I am to live where I do.
Do you find Mr. Sunglasses to the left here as sexy as I do? Imagine sharing a beach blanket with him. Aye-yi-yi …. 😉
I slept a little late today, but I was down at the shore by nine AM to take my walk. Very few people were down there. Our winter visitors have all gone back up north and schools are still in session, so only locals are around at this point, which is nice.
I have a busy day ahead of me. Tomorrow my ex-partner and I will travel northward to retrieve our boat form a marina where it’s been serviced. Then we’ll trailer it back to the marina where we keep it for use at our fishing camp. Then we’ll spend Friday and Saturday nights up at the camp, doing some fishing and beer-drinking.
Yes, my ex and I will try to remain friends so we can enjoy doing the things we’ve always liked to do together, minus the romance. He’s a great guy, and I hope he’ll always be a part of my life, even if we aren’t boyfriends anymore.
In preparation for our trip I need to buy food, beer and wine for the trip. I need to pack clothing and toiletries and all the paraphernalia we’ll need up there for the weekend. It’s time-consuming and will take up much of my day. I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island, around four PM, and then I’ll drive into the city to spend my evening with an old friend I’ve know since third grade, a weekly ritual I enjoy.
Have a nice Thursday, friends.
