Hot boys on boats; gloomy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I live on an island on Florida’s Gulf Coast and boats are everywhere in my community. It’s no secret that young guys are fascinated by boating, and they tend to lose their inhibitions when they’re afloat.

The two boys to the left here seem to be enjoying themselves, don’t they? I wonder where that photo was taken, and exactly what sort of relationship those two boys have with each other? Are you think what I’m thinking? 😉

I woke to the sound of rain pounding my roof this morning. I mean it was pouring, and the storm kept on for hours. The rain finally stopped around 10:30 AM, but the sky has remained overcast all day.

Check out Mr. Cutie to the left here. Do you you think he’s enjoying himself on that boat? I’ll bet he his. And I’m enjoying looking at him.

Yummy …..

Well, I took a three-mile walk on the beach around 1:30 this afternoon. There were not many people down there because the sun wasn’t shining. But I enjoyed the walk very much. It was nice to get outdoors. I also took a two-mile run, here on the island, around 3:30, and it was actually pleasant because the air wasn’t too warm.

Now it’s a little past five PM and I am here at home by myself. I bought fresh shrimp at our neighborhood seafood market for tonight’s dinner. I’ll team that was a garden salad for a nice meal. Have a great Sunday, friends.

  1. WE TWO BOYS TOGETHER CLINGING

    by Walt Whitman

    We two boys together clinging,
    One the other never leaving,
Up and down the roads going, North and South excursions making,
Power enjoying, elbows stretching, fingers clutching,
Arm’d and fearless, eating, drinking, sleeping, loving,
No law less than ourselves owning, sailing, soldiering, thieving, threatening,
Misers, menials, priests alarming, air breathing, water drinking,
on the turf or the sea beach dancing,
Cities wrenching, ease scorning, statutes mocking, feebleness chasing,
    Fulfilling our foray.
