Hot boys in the kitchen; easy Thursday for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Cute guys look especially cute when they’re rummaging about the kitchen  without much clothing on. I mean, check out Mr. Dinosaur Undies to the left here. Isn’t he adorable? I’ll bet he’s going to prepare breakfast for himself and his boyfriend. I wonder if his boyfriend put that bandage on his right calf for him?

I had a really nice evening with my friend last night. We shared a bottle of red wine, up on my observation deck before dinner. It was nice and breezy up there and it was fun watching sailboats cruise by on the Intracoastal Waterway. We shared a second bottle of red with dinner, and the meal was real tasty–a pasta casserole, a garden salad and garlic bread. My friend stayed until around 10:30, and shortly after he left I climbed into bed and read for a while until I got sleepy. The book I’m presently reading is titled Hillbilly Elegy,  and it’s quite good. It’s non-fiction, of course, nothing like the books I write, but enjoyable.

I woke up this morning about 8:30, and after a quick breakfast I got busy writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress for about two hours. I did some laundry in the later part of the morning, and then I took a three-mile walk on the beach after lunch.

Now its’ mid-afternoon and I have two goals. First I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island. Yeah, it’s warm outside but there’s a breeze blowing so I’ll be okay. After my run I have some yard work to do out front, and then I’ll get back in the a/c to cool down before I shower. Since today is Thursday I’ll drive into the city around 5:30 PM to spend the evening with an old friend who is housebound by mental illness. We’ll drink a few beers and then we’ll get some takeout for our dinner. It’s always a pleasant way to spend my Thursday evenings, and I know my friend appreciates my visits.

All right, everyone, I need to put on my running gear, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a great Thursday, wherever you might be today. Keep smiling. 🙂

  1. — Kitchen boy in dinosaur undies is cute in kitchen too and dailyhunts down and makes Aquilops fillets. MMmm as good as he is.
    — The book Hillbilly Elegy is a critics current favorite. No way does my sympathies lay so. Am an AMERICAN and THAT is my culture, from Plato, Aristotle, g. Washington, B. Franklin, A. Lincoln, and a hungry hundred more. THAT is my culture. White man’s dissoluting is his own fault.
