I’m not a huge fan of tattoos, but it seems they’re more common than not among the under-thirty crowd. And hey, if a guy has a slender body like the guy to the left here, I’ll overlook the tattoos. Aye-yi-yi …. 😉
I was up early this morning, and after breakfast I got busy at the keyboard writing fresh material for my new novel-in-progress. The words weren’t really flowing smoothly today, but I got a decent amount of work done, and now it’s around 10:30 AM.
Yesterday, I got it in my head to perform several outdoor tasks, including a bunch of yard work and cleaning my observation deck. It was a blistering hot day and I was sweating like crazy. I kept going inside the house to drink cold water, and after three hours I was exhausted. I came inside and sat under a ceiling fan, just guzzling water and savoring the cool dry air put out by my a/c system. How did we ever live without it in Florida?
I don’t really have a lot planned for my day. I have some housekeeping chores to perform at my house and at my vacation rental. I have correspondence to take care of. I’ll take a three-mile walk on the beach this afternoon when the breeze picks up, and then I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island, around four PM. I’m not sure what I’ll do with my evening, but I will probably watch the Tampa Bay Rays play the Red Sox on TV. It should be an exciting game to watch, as the Rays are chasing the Sox in their division.
Have a nice Tuesday, friends, wherever you might be today.
