I think people liked my “plaid shirt” photos I posted this morning, so I thought I’d share another of my favorites with you this afternoon. This boy’s name is Victor LeClerc. I assume he’s French. I have several photos of him, including one shirtless that is also a favorite. Look at how narrow his hips are, and his wavy hair is so beautiful. Yummy …. 😉
I’ve had a very productive day after getting off to a slow start. Righit after lunch I walked three miles on the beach for exercise. It was beautiful down there: sunny, still and not too warm. The Gulf was calm and clear, and not too many people were sunning themselves on the shore. Mostly European tourists from France, Germany and the U.K., judging by the accepts I heard as I ambled alone.
After my walk I tackled reorganizing my closet and my bathroom drawers. It didn’t take as long as I thought it would, and now everything looks so much neater and easier to access. I also hung up a new U.S. flag next to my front porch door. The old one wore out years ago. I had to remove the old mounting bracket and then put up a new one, which involved using my cordless drill. Now the flag’s up and it really dresses my place up. Carpenter Martin …. 🙂
I’m spending another quiet evening at home tonight. A good friend/neighbor of mine who was such a fine person passed away one year ago today, and another good friend/neighbor and I will have a drink in her memory a little later on today. I think it’s important to honor the lives of those who’ve been so kind to us over the years.
Have a nice Wednesday night, friends.
