Grimy but sexy; Martin’s in recovery ….

Hi, friends and readers:

As soon as I saw this photo I knew I had to put it up for you guys to enjoy. I think it’s pretty humorous, but also very sexy. Was he mud wrestling somebody? Those wet boxer briefs don’t do much to conceal our friend’s equipment,  do they? Yummy ….

Well, I’m in recovery, and no, that doesn’t mean I’m in the AA program. Yesterday I returned to my orthopedist’s office for my second visit of the week. Monday he’d injected my left hand with a collagen-busting substance. It hurt like hell and was still hurting yesterday.

Yesterday morning, around 10:30, his assistant physician walked into the room I occupied carrying two substantial syringes full of anesthetic. She proceeded to inject my left hand in multiple places to “numb it up” while I gritted my teeth and squirmed in my chair. God, it hurt.

Here’s another shot of our muddy friend, this time playing basketball. He doesn’t seem t like wearing much clothing, does he? Does anyone know who he is?

On with my misery … After my hand was numbed up, my doctor proceeded to bend all my fingers back and forth, and very soon I could hear a crunching noise coming from inside my hand. Right away my two  fingers that were starting to curl up snapped back into place. Amazing.

Now I have a bruised and very sore left hand. At night I have to wear a “splint” on the hand to keep my finger in place until they settle into their new home. This whole thing was a pain in the ass (and in my hand), but it was well worth it. Thanks, doctor. 🙂

It’a pretty day outside. I spent 2-1/2 hours writing fresh material this morning for my new novel-in-progress, and after I complete this post I will take a three-mile walk, here on the island. Have a nice Thursday, friends.

Beautiful guys in black-and-white; back to the doctor for Martin this morning ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Folks who follow this website know I adore good-quality black-and-white photography, and I love to share my finds with all of you. I especially like the photo to the left here; it has a haunting quality to it. It’s hard to tell whether the photographer was trying to project sadness or eroticism, but I’d guess the latter. It looks like the model was photographed in a dungeon or basement room, which lends a little BDSM into the mix, doesn’t it. Anyway, great picture.

If you will recall, this past Monday a doctor injected my left hand about a dozen times with a chemical designed to break down collagen building in the palm of the hand. My hand is still hurting pretty bad from the injections. Today I have to return to the doctor to have my hand “manipulated”, which doesn’t sound like fun, but it’s necessary to get my hand back to normal. I’ll just take a stick to bite on. 🙁

It’s a pretty day outside, and maybe when I return from the doctor’s office I’ll take a three-mile walk on the beach to reward myself for my bravery. Have a nice Wednesday, friends.

Sad boys; life’s not always easy ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I try to keep things upbeat on this website. Look, we all have a certain measure of sorrow in our lives, that’s just the way things are. But why dwell on our troubles all day long. certainly don’t.

Anyway, sometimes I hear from young gay men, mostly from rural areas, who see so desperate that I ache for them. They are lonely and scared and they don’t know where to turn for understanding and love. So I’m posting a pair of “sad boy” photos this morning, as a reminder that there are a lot of unhappy gay boys out there.

I woke this morning with an aching hand, the aftermath of the injections I received from my orthopedist yesterday, I popped some more Tylenol which will hopefully help me get through my day

Do you find the photo to the left as moving as I do? You can almost feel the sadness oozing from the boy’s face and posture.

I’ll stay busy today. My winter guests who take my vacation rental each year just left, and now I have more guests coing in for two weeks. They arrive next Monday and before they do I’ll need to thoroughly clean the apartment and get everything in order for their stay. That means I’ll be over there about four hours, working away with my sore hand. 🙁 Then I need to hit the wine market and the supermarket afterward.

Have a nice Tuesday, friends.

Shirtless and sexy; strange day for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’ve said this so many times maybe I should skip saying it again, but there are some young men who should almost never wear a shirt. Why cover up all that smooth skin and those rippling muscles.? Such guys owe us the right to enjoy their beauty as much as possible, I think.

I mean, check out Mr. Black Briefs to the left here. He’s a total babe, and look at his torso. Pure perfection and definitely boyfriend material. I wonder who he is and where he lives?

Well, my day started out very strangely. I suffer from a benign disease called Dupruyton’s contracture. It’s a collagen buildup in the palms of my hands that can cause certain fingers to start bending. Today an orthopedic surgeon injected two vials of collagenase into my left hand, which hurt like hell when he was doing it, but whatever.

Wednesday I’ll see the doctor again to stretch my hand and break up the excess collagen in that hand. This disease is common among middle-aged men of northern European descent. So I guess I can thank my German ancestors for handing (no pun intended) me down this problem.

I will have to go through another round of injections in my right hand sometime in the near future. Oh, boy.

Anyway, the procedure and three hours of driving time to northeast Tampa ate up a total of four hours. Afterward I could go to the gym because my hand was hurting so badly. I took a three-mile walk on the beach instead. I also took some Tylenol for my pain and it really helped a lot.

I’m  not planning much for my evening. I ave a Netflix rental to watch while eat dinner by myself, and that’s about it. Have a nice Monday, friends.

Sexy wrestlers; nice Sunday on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:When I was in high school we didn’t have wrestling team at my school. The sport wasn’t big in Florida back then. But I had a nephew who wrestled when he was high school and I always attended his matches. Wrestling is an interesting sport. It requires a great deal of sacrifice and self-discipline. Two of my best friends today, who are considerably younger than me, also wrestled in high school, and I enjoyed attending their matches as well. Wrestlers are usually in top-notch physical conditions, and the singlets they wear during matches don’t leave anything to the imagination either.  😉

I have not been feeling well this week. I’m not sure what’s up but I’ve done a lot of sleeping. I slept until ten AM this morning. After I got up and had breakfast I read the entire Sunday newspaper, and now it’s almost noon.

It’s a gorgeous day on the island, weather-wise: sunny, still and about 78 degrees.  In just a few minutes I will put on my swim trunks, and then I’ll walk three miles on the beach down the street from my house. When I return home I’ll make myself a simple lunch, and then at 2:20 PM my Florida Gators will play South Carolina for a berth in the NCAA Final Four basketball competition. It should be an exciting game.

I don’t have much else planned for my day, other than taking care of some household chores and maybe editing my novel-in-progress. I’m just going to enjoy this beautiful day and my island home.

Hey, I’m having heavy traffic on this website this weekend. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and thanks to those of you who bought one of books. It’s nice to be appreciated. 🙂 Have nice Sunday.

Boys getting spanked; it’s a subculture all its own ….

Hi, friends and readers:

In the gay subculure bare-bottom, OTK spankings have always been an activity guys find intriguing. There are websites devoted to the practice, in fact:

http://www.malespank.net/MMSA_main.php

Hey, I’ve spanked young men many times, usually as a prelude to sex, and lots of young guys love the whole scene: the pre-spanking lecture, the lowering of pants and underwear, the bending over, and then the burn of the spanking itself. Sometimes a little corner time, spent with pants down, adds to the mix.

I wrote a story called Slacker that appears in my anthology titled Flawed Boys. In it a boy named Robert enters into a dad/son relationship with an older man named Cecil. When Robert breaks the household rules Cecil paddles Robert–hard.

Here’s an excerpt from Slacker describing the spanking:

Slacker, copyright Martin Delacroix 2011

After entering the bedroom, Daddy removed his shirt; he tossed it into the hamper, on top of my soiled clothes. He stepped to the closet, retrieved the paddle. Then he stood before me, tapping the blade against his palm.

“Look at me, Robert.”

I looked up.

“Do you know why I’m punishing you this afternoon?”

I nodded.

“Why?”

“I broke the rules.”

“It’s not just that,” Daddy said. “I’m trying to teach you something: self-control. We’ve talked about this before. You’re not a kid any longer. If you continue making bad choices, life is going to hurt you far worse than this paddle ever will. You might lose your job, your home, and even your freedom. Understand?”

I lowered my gaze and nodded.

“I want an answer, Robert.”

I looked up, into Daddy’s dark eyes. “Yes, sir,” I said, “I understand.”

“Stand up,” Daddy told me. “Turn around and face the bed.”

My knees wobbled when I rose. My pulse pounded and my eyes clouded with tears. He’s really going to do this, isn’t he?

Facing the bed, I flexed my toes.

“Put your hands on the mattress.”

I did as he’d said, bending at my waist and sticking my ass out.

“Spread your feet apart.”

I complied.

Daddy stepped to one side of me; he tapped the paddle’s blade against my ass cheeks while I shifted my hips.

Holy shit, here it comes.

Through a window above the headboard, I watched a squirrel hop about in one of Daddy’s live oaks. Believe me, I’d have given anything to trade places with that squirrel.

The first blow landed without warning; it made a sound like a pistol shot. I felt fire in my behind, like someone had touched hot metal to my skin. The pain hurt like nothing I’d ever felt before. I screamed, shot up straight, and hopped around like a kid on a pogo stick. My cock flipped here and there while I rubbed my stinging ass.

“That hurt,” I cried.

“It’s supposed to,” Daddy said. Then he pointed with the paddle. “Get back in position. Every time you take your hands off the bed, I’m adding extra licks.”

Extra licks? Jee-zus Christ . . . .

Shaking, I returned my hands to the mattress. I stuck my ass out, and then the beating proceeded. The paddle cracked across my buttocks, over and over, roasting my flesh. I wept like a four-year-old, stamped my feet against the carpet. I begged Daddy to stop, hollering each time he struck me. The pain was indescribable. It swallowed me and drove all thoughts from my brain. I turned into a quivering idiot; I babbled nonsense.

I wasn’t me anymore.

“Please, don’t. Please, no more . . . .”

Daddy didn’t talk while administering my punishment; he only worked the paddle, striking me everywhere from the tops of my thighs to just below my waist. Every square inch of my backside burned like I’d sat on a bed of hot coals.

The paddling seemed endless, my suffering unendurable. It was a good thing we didn’t have any neighbors close by, because I screamed like a person getting stabbed to death. Honestly, I thought I was going to die from the pain.

I thought, doesn’t Daddy have an ounce of mercy in him? Does he know how much this hurts? But then I thought, don’t blame Daddy, stupid. You brought this upon yourself.

Eventually, the paddling ceased. The whole thing might have lasted ten minutes or so, but to me it had seemed like three hours.

“That’s it, Robert,” Daddy said. “You can stand up now.”

When I rose, I trembled so badly I thought I might stagger and fall. My hands flew to my flaming bottom; I rubbed my ass while tears flowed down my cheeks. I stood there, naked as the day I was born, and crying like a baby. I had lost all sense of pride and dignity.

I’m just a punk, an idiot, an utter fool.

Daddy hung up the paddle. Then he came to me and took me in his arms.

“Okay,” he whispered, “everything’s all right. It’s over.”

Then he stroked my hair.

All right, everyone, have a great Saturday, wherever you might be.

Spring Breakers and their sunglasses; pretty night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’m  just back from a three-mile walk on the beach, and it so beautiful down there. The sun was shining, a nice breeze was blowing and the Gulf water was perfectly clear. Of course there were tons of Spring Breakers there, including lots of sexy guy in their swim trunks and sunglasses.

Check out the smile on Mr. Backward Ball Cap to the left here. I guarantee you the photo was taken somewhere around here. But why wasn’t I there when it was taken? 🙁 What a babe ….

So I actually walked three miles twice today because I skipped going to the YMCA for my usual workout and lap-swimming session. It was just to nice a day to leave the island I live on. So I still got plenty of exercise and I saw plenty of nice sights too. 😉

Now check out Mr. Fuzzy Armpit to the left. Great hair, great skin and great body. Oh, and I like his sunglasses too. You can see  mountains in the background of his photo, so I’m guessing it was taken in southern California.

It’s five PM right now and I just opened a cold beer to savor as I write these words. I’m sharing a bottle of red wine with my good friend, and then  I have leftovers from last night for my dinner. Right around ten PM the Florida Gators play Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament for the right to reach the Elite Eight. I’ll be cheering for UF of course, since I went to school there. Have a nice Friday evening, friends.

Hot guys in plaid shirts; easy Thursday for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Ever notice how an unbuttoned plaid shirt can really flatter a guy’s appearance. I mean, check out this guy to the left. His sex appeal is almost smoldering when he gazes into the camera lens. I don’t think a professional photographer took the photo, but it certainly is…artistic in its own way. 😉

I had a restless night last night. I ended up reading in bed during the wee hours, and then I slept until 9:30 AM. I read the newspaper and worked a crossword puzzle, and then after lunch I walked three miles, here on the island.

Now it’s almost three PM and I’ve just returned from shopping at our island’s supermarket, so the fridge and cupboards are stocked for the next few days.

Since my boyfriend moved to Tallahassee I’ve taken to spending my Thursday evenings with an old friend who is pretty much housebound due to mental illness. We have known each other since third grade, and we roomed together during college and also during my law school days. He’s a good guy. Around 5:30 PM tonight I will drive into the city for a visit with him. We’ll drink a few beers and talk about daily lives, and then we’ll get some takeout for our dinner. It’s a nice way to spend an evening.

Have a nice Thursday, everyone.

More boys at the beach; nice evening on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Do you find the guy to the left here as appealing as I do? Some may think he’s too skinny but not me. He’s just how I like a young man to be built: slim but with a bit of muscle on his frame. Right  now there are tons of guys like him roaming our shoreline and I try to get down there whenever I have the chance. Can you blame me?

I had a great workout at the YMCA this afternoon but I didn’t get to swim laps because the pool was too crowded. 🙁 After I left the Y i visited Home Depot to buy six bags of mulch to finish the mulching job I started yesterday. The front yard of my house already looks a lot better, even with the job only two-thirds done. It should only take me about 1-1/2 hours to complete the job tomorrow, and then my house will have a much more spring-like look.

Oh, I stopped at our island’s seafood market to purchase a grouper fillet for tonight’s dinner. Grouper is probably the best tasting non-game fish you can buy on Florida’s west coast. It has a nice taste and the flesh is meaty. Yummy ….

SONY DSC

Do you like Mr. Blondie to the left here? He’s a handsome lad and he looks so good in those swim trunks. I like his wind-tossed hair too. What a babe …. 😉

It’s a beautiful evening, here on the island, with the temperature around 77. The sun is shining and a light breeze is blowing, perfect weather for sitting on my deck and watching the sailboats cruise by on the Intracoastal Waterway. I’ll go up there with a drink around six PM and then I’ll just relax and enjoy the beauty of my surroundings. And who knows, maybe Mr. Blondie will come walking by my house. I could invite him up to my deck and offer him a cold beer. Think he’d like that?

All right, everyone, I have some correspondence to tend to so I will close this evening post by wishing all of you a very lovely Wednesday night.

Spring Breakers with hangovers; busy Wednesday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Well, we all know the feeling. Last night you and your fellow Spring Breakers partied into the wee hours: beer, vodka shots, and maybe a few hits off the bong. The end of the night you can’t actually remember too well, but this morning you woke up next to some guy you didn’t even know, and both of you were, umm…naked.

Aye-yi-yi. Now your head is pounding and your stomach is queasy and it hurts to gaze out the window at the sunny day out there. When will you learn?

Hey, that’s what Spring Break is all about: excess and doing things you would not normally do. It all stays there. No one back home will ever know. You don’t need to worry.

It’s yet another beautiful March morning, here on the island. The sun is shining, the temperature’s in the mid-70’s and the wind is not blowing at all, perfect weather for beachgoing.

I slept in late; I didn’t get out of bed until nine AM, but that’s okay. I needed the rest. After I finish this post I’ll read the newspaper and maybe do a crossword puzzle. Then I’ll take a three-mile walk on the beach.

After lunch I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. Then I need to visit Home Depot to purchase mulch and a few other things. I’ll have a few other errands to run before returning home.

I don’t have any plans for my evening, but tonight may be a good time to visit my timeshare down the street for a soak in the hot tub. Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
