Martin’s a tour guide, his feet are sore …

Hi, friends are readers:

My houseguests arrived at Berlin’s Tegel Airport yesterday, around three P. M. and I brought them to my place, where they showered and changed clothes after a long journey.

We had a little party last night with some Berlin friends. I cooked dinner for four guys and myself, then we spent a few hours on the balcony. This morning the kitchen was full of empty beer bottles (again).

Today we toured the area near the Bahnhof Zoo, then rode the S-Bahn to the Unter der Linden, Berlin’s spectacular boulevard where many embassies and other significant structures are located. We toured the Berliner Dom, a beautiful, cathedral-like church that is, simply, breathtaking, both inside and out. We finished the day by visiting the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz. We must’ve walked five miles or more today and my feet are worn out.

Time to relax on the balcony with a beer. Weather today was great, a high around 78 F, not a cloud in the sky.

Have a great Thursday, everyone.
