I woke to sunshine spilling into my room this morning. It’s bright and breezy on the island today, my kind of winter weather. And if I didn’t have so much to do today, I’d lie out in the sun on my patio and work on my tan, just like the young man in the photo I’ve posted here.
Today I’ll finish touching up the paint job in my bedrrom, then I get to move my bed back in there. Hallelujah! I’ve been living in a mess for nearly a month, and now things will return to normal.
Speaking of touching things up, I finished the first draft of my Maine story yesterday. At 8,000 words it’s a bit shorter than most of what I write, but I am pleased with it. I’ll do a bit of tweaking on it this morning, then I’ll get started on a new story for an editor who has asked me to submit something fresh for a new anthology he’s putting together. Get busy, Martin!
And, hey, everyone … Enjoy your Tuesday.
