Hot, shirtless guy; chilly night on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

Okay, who doesn’t think this guy in the photo I’ve posted is hot? Anyone? Great body, nice hair and lips. How come he doesn’t live next door to me?

I made good progress on the story I am writing, then I worked in my yard for three hours, getting things back in shape. The weather here has been so lousy I couldn’t get out there to clean things up. Because of the freeze in January I had tons of dead stuff to clean up. I also planted a dozen new flowering impatiens in pots, to replace the ones burned in the freeze. I know, if you live someplace where the temperature goes below freezing all the time, it would be hard for you to understand just how heavily this cold weather has impacted those of us in west central Florida. There’s dead stuff everywhere.

My houseguest is spending the weekend in Tampa, clubbing with his buddies over there. Me? I’m staying home and making a nice dinner for myself and a guest. I have plenty of cold beer and white wine, and soon I’ll light the charcoal grille. That’s my idea of a nice Saturday night.

Someone wrote and asked where they could purchase my novella, Maui. And I’m sure I posted the info here before, but I’ll do it again:

Here’s a link to the Torquere Press website where you can buy it:

Maui is one of the best stories I have written to date, in my opinion. I receive a great deal of comments from people who have read Maui and most all are positive. It’s a nice love story, set in a beautiful place, with interesting characters and a lot of tension between the guys involved in a love triangle.

So, it’s a chilly night on the island. The wind is blowing and the temperature will dip into the 40s again. I have no one to snuggle with tonight (Boo-hoo), so I guess I will curl up with a book and a glass of wine by the fireplace. Doesn’t sound too bad, does it?

Enjoy your Saturday night, everyone. Stay warm!
