Ah, young love. Aren’t the boys in today’s photo post cute? I like it when two boys are not afraid to show affection between them in public places. You don’t see this much in the United States, but you do in Europe.
Speaking of Europe, people keep asking me why I’m not in Berlin this summer, as I have been for the past several years. The answer’s complicated: (1) I’ve been ripped off on my damage deposits the past two summers I spent in Berlin. It seems to be a common practice among landlords there, and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. (2) I have a new boyfriend. He’s the nicest, sexiest guy in the world and I’d rather spend time with him whenever I can this summer. (3) I have several writing projects in the works and I’m never as productive when I’m in Europe as I am at home.
There you have it.
It’s a typical Wednesday for me: writing this morning, working out and swimming at the YMCA this afternoon, dinner out with my friends in town. My dinner party last night turned out great. I had five guests and they ate everything in sight. We took drinks to the beach to watch sunset and everyone had a good time. It’s the first dinner party I’ve hosted in a quite a while and I enjoyed it immensely. I think I’ll do it again soon.
Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you are.
