Readers’ interest in spanking erotica …

Hi, friends and readers:

Over a year ago I sold a story titled Serving Lisa to Noble Romance Publishing, for inclusion in a short fiction anthology titled Spank Me Once. It has sold very well and continues to do so at NRP’s site, at Amazon and All Romance e-books. Many readers seem to be fascinated by inclusion of spanking in an erotic relationship, whether it’s male/male or male/female pairings. Or, in the case of Serving Lisa, a male/female/male triad. People definitely find the subject titillating.

Here’s the anthology’s Amazon link:

You can see it’s ranked quite high in sales in the Gay/Erotic/anthologies category. Here’s the blurb for my story:

Lane’s a college student with a secret: he needs discipline from a mature woman. Visiting a website called Cruel Mistress, he finds a listing by a German couple, Lisa and Andreas. They seek a young man who “craves naked discipline” to “service the lady of the house.” When Lane responds, his life is quickly transformed in ways he’d never imagined.

I often receive comments from readers who say they found Serving Lisa “incredibly erotic” or “highly stimulating.” Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

“The next story stands out because it is out of my comfort zone completely. This is Serving Lisa by Martin Delacroix.  This is the story of a married couple looking for a slave boy. And they mean slave when they say slave. Total humiliation, eating out of dog dishes, having dog food, and being totally humiliated is the slave’s kink.  This was not the story for me. I was pretty much over this story after two paragraphs. But if you like dark, dangerous humiliation, you should read Serving Lisa–it has it in spades.”

Okay, it’s true. Serving Lisa is not for the squeamish, but if you’re curious about the world of BDSM you might want to check it out. I had a lot of fun writing it.

I’m off to the city for beer-drinking and dinner with my buddies. Have a nice Wednesday evening, all.
