Skinny, naked boy; nice review on “Winston Quirk” …

Hi, friends and readers:

I just returned from an outdoor dinner party at a Gulf-front park, where we dined on grilled chicken and delicious sides. A nice group of people, 15 or so, attended. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I know I did.

Everyone like the photo I’ve posted here tonight? When I was eighteen I was that skinny. I was 6’1″ and weighed 150 pounds. At the time I didn’t like my appearance; I wanted an athlete’s build. But now it seems skinny’s okay.

I also received notice of a nice review from the Blackravens literary review site. They reviewed my new story, Winston Quirk, just published by Torquere Press as a “Charity Sip” benefitting Doctors Without Borders. The Blackravens  reviewer gave Winston Quirk  a “Five Ravens” rating, which means this:

“This book was outstanding. You could not put it down or stop thinking about it. You will certainly recommend it to friends and will search for more work from this author.”

If you want to read the review you can do so here:

Not bad, eh? Here’s where you can buy the story:

Okay, I must pack for my trip to the Gator game in Gainesville Saturday. Have a nice Thursday evening, all.
