Another record day on the blog; “Boys Who Love Men” is selling briskly …

Hi, friends and readers:

As most of you know, I took a fishing trip with my boyfriend this week and only returned home Thursday afternoon. My four-day absence left me with a large amount of correspondence to take care of. I’m also busy working on development of cover art for my new novella, Trick or Treat, due out later this month through Noble Romance Publishing.

Last night I visited the All Romance E-books (ARE) website, to check my book listings. (ARE is the largest-selling romance e-book retailer in the U.S.) I found two nice surprises there.

My story collection, Boys Who Love Men, which has only been available on the ARE site about two weeks, has already been declared a best-seller in the anthology category. Here’s the blurb on the book:

Boys Who Love Men offers three erotic tales, each about a young man overcoming his fears while seeking what he needs most in his life: love from an older man. Meet Jeff, a country boy yearning to escape his small town world. Get to know Sebastian, a Berlin rent boy whose brother bullies him. Learn of Nick, a disowned youth who burglarizes homes to pay his bills. And meet the men they fall in love with.

More good news:
My novel Love Quest, also published by Noble Romance in January 2010, has been assigned a five-star rating on the ARE website, meaning it’s been rated an exceptionally good book by ARE readers.
Although Love Quest has been on the market nearly a year, it continues to sell very well. Here’s the book’s blurb:
Eighteen year old Jamie Bliss ages out of the foster care system, a victim of repeated sexual abuses. After hustling tricks and living on the street for a time, Jamie enters into a couple of abusive relationships before meeting Evan and Frederick, a gay couple who become Jamie’s mentors. Can they help Jamie overcome his destructive past? His low self esteem? And when Evan introduces Jamie to Evan’s colleague, Jack, a young school teacher who pursues Jamie’s affection, can Jamie open his heart to Jack? Despite the bad cards life has dealt Jamie, is he still capable of love?

It’s another beautiful day on the island. I rose early and enjoyed a brilliant sunrise over the Intracoastal Waterway. Today will be sunny and dry, with a high temperature of around 80 degrees F. I think I’ll take a walk on the beach sometime this afternoon, to enjoy this beautiful weather.

I had another pleasant surprise waiting for me this morning. Yesterday was the busiest day this blog has ever experienced, by far. The number of visits I received was about triple the visits I averaged three or four months ago.
I don’t know why there’s been a surge in my blog’s traffic in recent months, but it’s nice to be noticed and it’s nice to see my book sales spiking as well.
All right, I’ve rambled on enough this morning. I’ve work to do and places to go, so I’ll wish everyone a pleasant Saturday, wherever you are. I know many folks will be watching college football today. My Gators play Mississippi State tonight and I can’t miss the game. But get outdoors for a while if you can. Enjoy this beautiful fall weather, if you are lucky enough to live in Florida.
