Sexy boy who needs a lesson; nice review on “Winston Quirk” …

Hi, friends and readers:

Sometimes a young man needs direction from a more … mature man. Know what I mean? It looks like the guy in tonight’s photo post is one of those. I wouldn’t mind giving him a few lessons. How about you?

It’s been a busy day for me: writing all morning on my work-in-progress titled Jaco Beach (now approaching 8,500 words), YMCA, Home Depot, booze store, and supermarket. Then I had to perform a plumbing repair. (Yeah, great writers still have to do such things to save money on professional plumbers. I can’t stand paying someone to perform tasks I can do myself.)

Now I’m kicking back with a few beers and admiring the cover art for my novella, Trick And Treat, due out later this month from Noble Romance. Wait’ll you see it. Since it’s Halloween season, the cover’s creepy, as is the story. I hope you’ll like it.

On another note, my story, Winston Quirk, released last month by Torquere Press, received a glowing review from the Dark Divas review site. Here’s what they said:

“A very different story, yet quite compelling, Winston Quirk by Martin Delacroix not only entertained but led to some introspection.

“I don’t know if this was the author’s intent, but as Dane was coming to realize that he had heretofore unexpected prejudices I was reminded of how, when I was a child in school, the class composition was nearly entirely Caucasian. Yet 25 years later, same city and same education system, my children’s classmates came from many and varied cultures, religious beliefs and races… and frankly, I envied my children.

“I guess what I want to say is that in his short story, Martin Delacroix not only delineated a sweet yet sexy romance, but had me appreciating that times have changed and, for the most part, for the better. Bravo Mr. Delacroix!

Rated 5 Delightful Divas by Kathy!

“Five Delightful Divas” is the highest rating the Dark Divas review site awards. Pretty cool, eh? Here’s a link to the review:

Alright, I’m off to sunset. It’s a beautiful evening here on the island: breezy and dry with a hint of cooler weather in the air. Enjoy your Monday night, all.
