Everyone like this morning’s photo post? I sure do. I live at the beach and, of course, I have an outdoor shower in my fenced patio, so I can wash off sand and salt water after taking a swim in the Gulf. I have both hot and cold water, even. It’s a great feeling, shedding your swimsuit and getting yourself clean while the sun shines on your shoulders.
It’s a breezy, sunny day here on the island. Midday, my boyfriend and I will travel to Florida’s east coast to spend a couple of days surfing. Hopefully the wind over there won’t ruin our surfing conditions. I like surfing over there on weekdays, as the crowds are gone and it’s easier to catch as many waves as you want.
Don’t worry, folks: I’ll be taking my laptop with me, so I’ll be posting from Cocoa Beach tomorrow. I won’t leave you high and dry. You’ll hear from me tomorrow unless a shark gets me this afternoon.
Thanks again to all of you who took the time to write me during the long weekend, with nice things to say about my latest books, De Narvaez, Boys Who Love Men and Becoming Men. I’m glad you enjoyed them.
Oh, and I know it’s the Monday after Thanskgiving weekend. The holiday was such fun, but now everyone must return to work and school. (G-r-r-r …). Just the same, try to enjoy your Monday, okay?
