What do you think of this morning’s photo post. The young man’s handsome, the setting’s interesting. (Is that a corn field?) And the boy’s behind is … extraordinary, I would say. The picture makes me want to visit Kansas or Nebraska. Do boys frequently wander naked between the corn rows?
I woke to the sound of rain drumming my roof this morning. We’ve had a very dry fall this year, hardly a drop of rain has fallen. So, we’re glad to get it. Plus, it’s kind of a peaceful sound.
My boyfriend and I bought our Christmas tree and decorations yesterday. (Good old Home Depot …) We picked up our photo Christmas cards and bought a few other things to make our house festive. This evening, we’ll put up the tree while drinking a bit of champagne. It should be fun.
Last night we attended a housewarming party in South Tampa. It was fun, People were salsa dancing, there was plenty to eat and drink. I saw my friends I went to Costa Rica with in July, and we shared many laughs. I spent most of my time outdoors on the patio; it was so nice last night. About 70 degrees and dry.
Now that I’ve finished my latest short novel, Manuel Antonio, I plan to start a new short story this morning. I’m not sure what it will be about, but it’s always fun bringing something new to life.
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone.
