At left is a photo of my favorite swimmer in the world. I don’t know his name, I don’t know where he lives either. (I suspect Australia.) I know, he’s not model material. His face has a bit of acne and his hair’s kind of a mess, but I don’t care, I think he’s sexy as hell.
I have posted three other pictures of his guy. (See June 5, 2009, October 16, 2009 and November 8, 2009.) But I’ve never seen this particular shot before. All the photos were taken at the same swim meet, I am certain.
Anyway, I hope you like the picture.
Last night I took my Wednesday night buds out for dinner at a fine quality restaurant, where we drank martinis and ordered entirely too much food. (The mussels steamed in tomatoes and butter were delicious.) Even the Caeser salad, freshly prepared at tableside, was tasty. This is something I do annually for my friends, to let them know I appreciate them.
It’s another quiet day for me today. Since my boyfriend’s in Minnesota for Christmas, I’m living the single-guy life. I’ll do a bit of writing this morning, maybe visit the booze store for wine and beer. This afternoon I’ll take a nice, long run.
Outside it’s about 65 degrees F and sunny, a perfect second day of winter. I love living in Florida at this time of year. My poor boyfriend’s dealing with 22 degree weather in Minnesota.
The Amazon website this morning indicates my two books, titled Boys Who Love Men and Becoming Men, are among the thirty best-selling gay anthologies offered at Amazon. Maybe folks are buying my books as Christmas gifts? Here’s the link if you’re interested in purchasing either: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=ntt_athr_dp_sr_1?_encoding=UTF8&search-alias=digital-text&field-author=Martin%20Delacroix
Enjoy your Thursday, everyone.
