My favorite Speedo boy; Martin’s at Disney World …

Hi, friends and readers:

Everyone like this morning’s photo post? I’ve put up photos of this young man before. I’ve never seen anyone who looks as beautiful in a Speedo as him. Forget blond-haired, blue-eyed boys. Give me guys with dark eyes and brown locks.  I’m quite sure he’s a water polo player from Australia.

He can swim in my pool anytime he wants.

Okay, yesterday I told you my boyfriend and I are taking an excursion, but I didn’t say where. I’m now seated in our hotel room outside Orlando, looking across the treetops at Walt Disney World. Yeah, we made the two-hour drive over here yesterday, and this morning we’ll take a shuttle to the Magic Kingdom, where we’ll spend the day with Mickey Mouse and Goofy and the gang.

I haven’t been to Disney in twenty years, when I took my two boys, then ages five and ten. (They’re both grown up now, but I’m not …) I know, in some ways The Magic Kingdom is corny, but it’s so well done and folks there always seem to be in a good mood.

We’ll visit Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, Jungle Safari and all the other fun attractions. It’s a great way to spend a day. My boyfriend hasn’t been here since he was little — so little he can’t remember the experience. It’ll be fun seeing how he reacts to the silliness of Disney.

Outside, it’s sunny,  cool and dry, with very little wind. A perfect day to spend wandering about Disney World. This is the best time of year to be here.

Last night we dined out at a seafood place. The restaurants in the Disney area were all packed. We couldn’t get a reservation until nine P.M. But our food was good and the atmosphere was pretty nice. The restaurant was a short drive from our hotel, which made things easy.

Okay, it’s time to get dressed and have breakfast downstairs before we take the shuttle to the park. Wherever you are today, I hope you’ll have as much fun as we will.
