I received a flood of positive comments about the photo of Marat I posted yesterday, most all of them asking for more photos of this handsome young man.
I went treasure hunting and came up with this one. I think it’s a beauty. What do you think? He has such beautiful skin and hair, and his eyes are very seductive. This photo was taken several years ago. I wonder where Marat is today?
A friend just texted me and asked me to visit our local theater to watch a movie, The Fighter. I told him, “I’d like to see the film, but the weather’s too nice to spend the afternoon inside.”
I know … people think us Floridians are obsessed with the weather. And I guess we are. Four months out of the year we deal with hot, humid weather. It forces us to live inside, in the air conditioning. So, when late fall arrives and things get nice, we want to soak up all the sunshine and balmy breezes we can.
Right now, it’s about 70 degrees F outside. The sun is shining and there’s only the lightest of breezes stirring the fronds on my cocomut palms. My boyfriend has the day off and we’ll take a walk on the beach after I finish writing for the day. Tonight we’ll watch sunset with our neighbors, then cook fresh salmon on the charcoal. What a great way to spend a Sunday on Florida during winter.
Wherever you are, I hope the sun is shining and you’re feeling good. Enjoy this beautiful day, friends.
